There will be significant traffic restrictions in Munich from today, September 15, 2025. There will be a closure on Rappenweg and the rest of the route that will last until September 26, 2025. Diversions have been set up and the diversion route leads via Wasserburger Landstraße, Truderinger Straße and Schmuckerweg. Pedestrians and cyclists do not have to forego their traffic connections and can use the area without restrictions.
The length of the closed area is approximately 392 meters and affects the postal codes 81829 and 81827, affecting Rappenweg between Rappenweg and Stolzhofstrasse and Schwablhofstrasse between Stolzhofstrasse and Rappenweg.
Construction work and other restrictions

This will lead to a diversion of traffic, while pedestrians and cyclists can continue to navigate through the construction sites, albeit in some cases with slight displacements. Tram line 19 will be replaced by a replacement rail service during this construction period.
