Students show creative works: Exhibited” in the paint shop!

From September 11th to 29th, the paint shop at Hansastraße 31 will open its doors for an exciting exhibition entitled “Exhibited”. This event marks a revival of a student exhibition format at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. The aim of the event is to get to know students' current artistic positions and to enter into dialogue, as wochenanzeiger.de reports.

The exhibition highlights the importance of studying art today and addresses artistic practice at the interface between pedagogy, multimedia and fine art. Works from various fields of study will be presented, including art education, art and multimedia, and fine arts teaching. Students show their creative results in various formats such as painting, printmaking, photography, film and installation. Performance as well as lighting and media techniques will also be part of the show.

A diverse program

The works shown are not only experimental, but also personal, political, conceptual or aesthetic. “Exhibited” serves as a platform for exchange, mediation and encounters, and workshops and performances are also planned throughout the entire duration of the exhibition. These accompanying events offer visitors the opportunity to delve deeper into the subject matter and talk directly to the artists.

A central aspect of the exhibition is the interdisciplinarity, which is already anchored in the courses at the Muthesius Art University. Here students learn to integrate different social areas, materials and forms of expression into their artistic practice. The aim is to continually develop individual artistic practice by examining reality from different perspectives. As the Muthesius Art University emphasizes on its website, the exchange of aesthetic concepts plays an important role in the students' group work, which promotes skills for reflecting on their artistic positions.

Training and career opportunities

The art studies at the University of Erfurt are divided into artistic practice, art history and art theory as well as art education and art education. Students have the opportunity to research and convey aesthetic and artistic perception and forms of expression. After their studies, numerous career opportunities are open to them, be it in teaching and educational work, as self-employed artists or in areas such as art management and art criticism, as uni-erfurt.de summarizes.

With a wide range of learning opportunities, regular excursions and the opportunity to gain international experience, students are given a comprehensive overview of the art market and current developments in the art scene. Anyone interested in studying art can enroll from May 1st to September 15th, although an aptitude test in the form of a digital portfolio and a practical test is required.

The exhibition “Exhibited” is therefore not only an opportunity for students to present their work to a broad public, but also an invitation to all art enthusiasts to engage with the challenges and achievements of young artists and to discover new perspectives.
