A 30-year-old woman from Munich injured a 56-year-old man in the Westendstrasse area. A 25-year-old woman was also attacked with a knife in another incident at Schwanthaler Höhe.
The police were quickly on site after the perpetrator was caught. It was placed in the Bavariaring area at St. Pauls-Platz. In what turned out to be a serious incident, a firearm was used: the 30-year-old was injured during her arrest and was taken to hospital, where she died shortly afterwards. The exact circumstances of the firearm use are unclear and are now being investigated by the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office.
