Another incident also caused excitement when a missing person was found in the Giesinger district. These challenges must now be addressed by the Munich traffic police.
In Obergiesing, a 32-year-old cyclist fell on the cycle path on Chiemgaustraße towards Ramersdorf around 2:50 p.m. The cycle path ended and led onto the road, where a danger sign pointed out the maximum speed limit of 30 km/h. Unfortunately, there was a suspected collision with a motor vehicle in which the woman suffered serious head injuries despite wearing a helmet. She had to be taken to the hospital. An unknown witness, who described the incident to a first responder, then left the scene of the accident. The Munich traffic police have started an investigation and are calling on witnesses to call (089) 6216-3322.
