Burglar falls asleep in the Pasinger supermarket after being drunk!

A break-in at a supermarket in Pasing at night causes a stir. On Saturday evening, more precisely at 2 a.m., a 38-year-old man set about breaking the glass door of the supermarket on Kaflerstrasse with a paving stone. What turned out to be particularly strange, however, was his subsequent behavior. The burglar slipped into the store and not only helped himself to several bottles of alcohol, but also left no peace with the sweet temptations on the candy shelf.

After he had properly helped himself, he simply lay down in the sales room and promptly fell asleep. In the meantime, the trading company's alarm system went off, which brought the police to the scene. The emergency services arrived quickly and found the man sleeping on the spot. Thanks to a dog handler who searched the building with his loyal companion, the burglar was quickly caught. After his arrest, a complaint was filed against him for burglary and he will be brought before an investigating judge to clarify the question of his arrest. This is reported by the South German newspaper.

Strange incident at night

It is not the first break-in at a supermarket that has caught the attention of the police. In another current case that occurred in November, perpetrators broke into an Edeka market in Fürstenberg. It has emerged that the burglars drove up in a “high-end car” to plan their mischief. They specifically searched the office for cigarettes, and when they couldn't find them, they tried to rob a nearby gas station. In this case too, the alarm was triggered, but the perpetrators managed to escape in their car. Further information on this incident will be provided by the Märkischen online newspaper provided.

Such incidents shed light on the challenges police face when it comes to security in public facilities. As long as there are people who plan such daring actions at night, the support of citizens remains essential for the investigating authorities. Tips about similar cases or suspicious activities are always welcome at local police stations.
