Sound poetry in the castle: Zoran Imširović inspires Munich!

The charm of Nymphenburg Castle will be enlivened with a very special musical event on Monday, November 10, 2025. From 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. there will be a piano evening in the Johannissaal with the renowned pianist Zoran Imširović. The artist, also known as the founder and artistic director of Piano Summer, will enchant listeners with his program “Sound Poetry between France and Spain”. The sheet music contains wonderful works by Claude Debussy, Lili Boulanger, Federico Mompou and Manuel de Falla, which have a touch of light and silence, passion and poetry.

This event is not just a piano recital, but part of the Munich Piano Competition, which offers a stage for young pianists from all over the world. This gives the talented musicians the opportunity to present themselves internationally and demonstrate their skills. A jury of proven experts leads this competition, which promotes encounters, personal growth and creative inspiration. The piano evening is therefore also a showcase of the Piano Summer Academy, which offers scholarships and master courses in Italy.

A celebration of piano art

What is particularly pleasing is that some of the competition's winners will be on stage together with Zoran Imširović. This performance offers a unique opportunity to witness the future stars of piano music and be inspired by their talent. The combination of experienced musicians and emerging talent creates a unique atmosphere that music lovers shouldn't miss.

The ticket prices for this exquisite event are very fair: regular tickets cost €30, and discounted tickets for students start at €15. So it's worth securing a spot and letting the sounds inspire you.

Building cultural bridges

The event plays an important role in Munich's cultural landscape. The focus of Piano Summer is not only on classical music, but also on building cultural bridges between Germany, Italy and Serbia. Through the exchange and connection fostered through music, a European spirit is created that enriches the festival. This initiative not only offers a platform for young artists, but also helps promote the international music scene.

The Nymphenburg Palace venue, with its historic backdrop, is the perfect setting for this musical delight. Anyone who is interested in the interplay between tradition and modernity in music should not miss this piano evening.
