An exciting weekend with unpleasant incidents once again kept Munich in suspense. On Friday, October 24, 2025, the city was rocked by several burglaries recorded in Unterschleißheim and Oberschleißheim. According to the Bavaria Police During this time there were three burglaries in residential buildings. In the first case, an attempted break-in was recorded in Unterschleißheim, in which the perpetrators fled without gaining access. A second burglary in the same city went less smoothly: Here the perpetrators searched an apartment and stole cash and jewelry.
The third break-in occurred in a semi-detached house in Oberschleißheim. Jewelry was stolen here too. The police are asking for your help: Witnesses who observed something suspicious between 5:45 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. near Hauptstrasse and Furtweg in Unterschleißheim and Feierabendstrasse in Oberschleißheim are asked to come forward. Commissariat 53 has started an investigation.
Assault on police officers
While the break-ins threw the neighborhood into turmoil, the following night, on Saturday, October 25th, there was a violent incident in Schwanthalerhöhe. A 33-year-old, drunk woman first tried to escape, but then resisted and kicked a police officer. A 36-year-old man who wanted to help her also felt the police's displeasure. At the same time, a 17-year-old British citizen was the victim of sexual harassment in Neuperlach. She was touched inappropriately and followed by an unknown perpetrator. Commissariat 15 has started the investigation and is asking for information, especially in the area of the Perlach shopping center and the U5 subway line.
Burglaries and thefts in the city
Another break-in occurred in Westend, where unknown people broke into a kiosk on the night of Friday, October 24th. They forced entry through a window and stole five-figure amounts of tobacco products. The officers from Commissariat 52 are investigating here.
The security forces did not remain idle in Moosach either: there was another break-in here on Friday morning, in which two perpetrators broke into an apartment and stole cash and jewelry. Witnesses are asked to report information from the area between Lauinger Strasse, Untermenzinger Strasse and Dillinger Strasse.
Arrest after e-scooter theft
On Saturday, October 26th, at 3:30 a.m., the police in Ramersdorf finally had success: two men who were riding an e-scooter were checked by a patrol crew. The e-scooter had previously been reported stolen. The suspected men, aged 20 and 35 and Romanian citizens, were finally released after the complaint was filed.
