In Maxvorstadt, the Pizzeria "Calvello’s" has to celebrate great news: In the current ranking of the "Top 50 Pizza" it was chosen for a remarkable 38th place. This makes "Calvello’s" the only pizzeria from Munich and is one of the four representative pizzerias in Germany in this Europe -wide list. The evaluation of hundreds of pizzerias that have been tested anonymously included both the taste and the atmosphere in the restaurant, such as muenchen.de reported.

What makes "Calvello’s" so special? The jury particularly praised the authentic aromas and the first -class service, which together make the culinary experience unforgettable. At the same time, however, there are also two German pizzerias that cut even better: "Napizza" from Nuremberg reaches 35th place and "Pizza Zulu" from Fürth is sensational. The "Bottega Ceccarelli" from Braunschweig completes the German presence in the ranking in 48th place.

European pizza elite

The tip of the ranking is once again dominated by "Napoli on the Road" in London, followed by the "Baldoria" in Madrid and the "Via Toledo" in Vienna in places two and three. The best 20 pizzerias in Europe have the chance to enter the list of 100 best pizzerias worldwide, which will be presented in Naples on September 8th, Timeout.com .
