Gleisdorf Cultural Pact: An autumn full of art and highlights!
Something is happening in Gleisdorf! The cultural pact presented its colorful program for autumn and winter at a press conference. Mayor Christoph Stark and cultural officer Karl Bauer highlight the blossoming of the cultural scene. “Create – Sustain – Develop” is the motto that is the focus this year. Many representatives of local cultural institutions were present, including Birgit Ferstl from the Gleisdorf city library and Eva Lassnig, head of the cultural pact. All of these actors make a huge contribution to ensuring that Gleisdorf flourishes culturally and is brimming with fresh ideas. MyDistrict.at reports that the upcoming series of events was presented at the Haus der Musik in Gleisdorf. Numerous events await visitors here, including exhibitions, readings and theater performances.
The importance of culture is also underlined by the award of five Floras in the flower decoration competition. This shows how important cultural life is for Gleisdorf's identity. With these events, the city not only wants to entertain, but also stimulate thought and promote discussions. “The quality of the offerings remains high despite financial challenges,” says Karl Bauer. The topics of resources, space and region are particularly in focus and invite you to discover new perspectives.

- 13. September: Ausstellung „Utopia 2050 – eine geheime Stadt“ im Kulturstock 3, Pischelsdorfer Gewerbepark.
- 20. und 21. September: Eröffnung des neuen Kunstareals Rosenbauer in Entschendorf.
- 10. Oktober: Lebensroman „Der Wildbacher“ von Komponist Lorenz Maierhofer im Haus der Musik.
- 17. Oktober: Ausstellung mit Bildern aus der Sammlung Wolf gewidmet Gerhard Lojen im Spiegelgitterhaus.
- 3. November: Diskussion über „Landwirtschaft in der Oststeiermark“ am Hof von Stefanie Gollner und Thomas Eberl in Gamling 16.
- 14. November: Vernissage im „Dorfhof KulturMarkt(h)ARTmannsdorf“.
- 15. November: „Überdosis-KUNST-Benefiz“ sowie „pupille-Puppennacht“ mit Christoph Bochdanksy im Kulturkeller Gleisdorf.
The entire program will be published in a new cultural brochure that will be distributed throughout the region and can also be found in the September city journal.
