On Friday evening, June 15, 2025, there was a serious traffic accident in Groß-Reken that made life lastingly difficult for a 49-year-old motorcyclist. According to Tixio, the biker was driving at the intersection of Berge/Casa-Kardinal-von-Galen-Straße around 6:40 p.m. when a 63-year-old driver overlooked him. The motorcyclist was seriously injured in the collision and was immediately taken to hospital.
The effects of the accident are devastating: the motorcycle was completely destroyed and the car was also no longer drivable, resulting in total damage amounting to several thousand euros. Police closed the intersection area to determine the exact circumstances of the collision. So far, these investigations are ongoing.
