CSU Bogenhausen nominates candidates: Brannekämper tops the list!
On November 1, 2025, the CSU in Bogenhausen presented its list of candidates for the upcoming local elections in March 2026. The population of Munich is currently around 1.6 million, while Bogenhausen itself has 95,441 residents. Tension is in the air, because with the adjustment of the seats in the district committee, the number of representatives increases from 35 to 37. The CSU is doing everything it can to become the strongest faction in the local parliament, with 15 mandates being targeted.
The nomination of the candidates, which was led by city councilor Fabian Ewald from Berg am Laim, was unanimous. It is a good sign that all incumbent BA members are on the list, even if some have ended up in less promising positions. The list shows the diversity of CSU applicants, which includes both experienced politicians and fresh faces.
