Wiesn-hit voting started: coordinate for your favorite!
in Munich it goes smoothly because the anticipation for the Oktoberfest is increasing! At the moment the voting for the music competition "A Liad für d’wiesn" is running, and the competition could hardly be greater. Until July 16, 2025, fans have the opportunity to give their voices for eight extremely creative contributions, which were selected from a total of 115 songs submitted by the experienced committee. Among the participants is also Hannes Ringlstetter, who, together with Django 3000, sends the soulful song "Yes Jay Hoam/ Fia Heid Hama Gnua" into the race, which even deals with a topic like the end of the world. This is not exactly what you would expect from a Wiesn hit!
Another highlight is Matthias Ortner aka "Matakustix", who conjures up the après-ski mood with his swinging "love of huts". For lovers of traditional melodies, Michael Fenzl has prepared a brisk brass music song with "Bierringa". What could be nicer than celebrating life with a measure and the right music? Max Weidner, who introduces himself as a "Kini from Da Wiesn", jokes in his song over his wooden bench and a measure of beer. One or the other smile in the beer tent should be big!
The amazing variety of the Oktoberfest hits
But that's not all! DIS M, a guitar beat, has contributed a hit with "at some point" about the consumption of alcoholic beverages. And the band "Schwanara", which sings the "Tabea" service in her short but warm song, will make the guests smile. In contrast to this, the band Saustoimusi from Ingolstadt has their therapeutic "Tuba pop" entitled "Käferbam" in their luggage.
Of course, the classics should not be missing in this colorful mix of music! The catalog "The Hit Giants: Oktoberfest Party" from 2022 presents a fine selection of Oktoberfest melodies, which makes the hearts of hit lovers beat faster. Hits like "Anton from Tyrol", "Himmlue Blue Eyes" and "Breathless" are absolute must-havees for every Oktoberfest party. A Like-Minded audience should also like the hit “Layla”, which was covered by DJ Anna-Konga and DJ.
popular and polarizing melodies
The mood is left out on the beer benches. Many Oktoberfest visitors love snappy songs such as "The Old Holzmichl" and "Cordula Grün". These songs create a real festive feeling and the air is literally loaded with positive energy. But not all melodies are equally well received. Some listen to Nena's "99 Red Balloons" or Helene Fischer's "Breathless", while "Hulapalu" by Andreas Gabalier is considered a real cult hit that makes the dance floor quake.
In this colorful mix of sounds and topics, it is once more evident how multifaceted the Oktoberfest is. With the combination of traditional brass music, current hits and original texts, every mood is provided. Here and there the decision may be difficult which song you ultimately choose for the competition. But one thing is clear: the Oktoberfest brings a lot of laughter, dancing and a good mood with it!
