Shocking traffic accidents in Munich: Injured people and investigations!
There were several traffic accidents in the Munich area on October 15, 2025, which not only kept the police on their toes, but also resulted in some injuries. An accident occurred in Putzbrunn at midday, involving a 31-year-old man from the Ebersberg district and a 28-year-old woman from the Rosenheim district. The 31-year-old wanted to turn left when he collided with the woman's vehicle. All three people involved, including the 28-year-old's 27-year-old passenger, had to be taken to hospital, while both vehicles were badly damaged. The result was a traffic delay of around two hours. The Munich traffic police have started investigating this incident, as reported by polizei.bayern.de.
The accident in Obermenzing, which happened around 6:30 p.m. on the same day, also caused a stir. A 22-year-old man in his Mercedes and a 52-year-old man in a BMW collided at an intersection. The Mercedes ended up crashing into a parked Seat, with the 52-year-old being taken to hospital with injuries. In this case, too, there was property damage to all vehicles involved and traffic disruptions for approximately one and a half hours. The Munich traffic police are also investigating.
Shocking threat and attempted arson
But it's not just traffic accidents that concern the police. That same evening, shortly before midnight, police received an emergency call from a 33-year-old woman who was being threatened with a knife by her 35-year-old husband. As a result, more than a dozen police patrols were quickly on site. The husband was arrested and fortunately there were no injuries. Here too, the Munich criminal police are investigating.
Another incident that stirred emotions occurred in Schwanthalerhöhe when an unknown perpetrator threw a burning firecracker through a window of an apartment at around 7:50 p.m. The 36-year-old man and his wife were able to extinguish the fireworks in time and there was only minor damage to property. A search for the perpetrator has so far been unsuccessful, and investigations by Commissariat 13 are ongoing.
Public search: missing woman
The public search for a 53-year-old woman from Munich who has been missing since midday on October 15, 2025 is particularly alarming. She is severely disabled and dependent on medication. She was last seen on Maximilianstrasse before she left unobserved. The police's search efforts have so far been unsuccessful. The woman is described as 1.65 meters tall, of strong build, with black hair and wearing a light blue jacket and black trousers. The Munich criminal police are calling on witnesses to come forward.
Traffic in and around Munich remains a serious issue. The stadt.muenchen.de reminds that the number of traffic accidents in the city remains high and accidents with injuries occur more than sporadically. It is important to be vigilant on the road and pay attention to the safety of all road users.
