Last Sunday, the Schwabmünchen Beautification Association celebrated a happy family festival in the picturesque Luitpoldpark. When the weather was good, numerous families flocked to the festival meadow to fully enjoy the numerous attractions. The festival program was colorful and varied: bouncy castles, face painting, Zorb balls and even a park track made children's eyes shine. The latter was always busy - there were no breaks between trips, which shows the great interest. Around 40 people from the club were on hand to make the festival a completely successful experience. Chairman Heinz Schwarzenbacher was visibly pleased with the smiles of the children and the lively activity in the meadow.
A special highlight of this festival was the inauguration of the new pavilion in the so-called “Blooming Garden”. It was originally intended as a bandstand, but due to financial considerations the concept was changed. Pastor Andy Gatz blessed the pavilion and described it as a “place of encounter,” while Mayor Lorenz Müller praised the improvement of the urban area of the park. It is clear that this new pavilion will make a significant contribution to the attractiveness of the park.
Games, fun and community
The concept of these festivals is to give families the opportunity to spend time together while having fun. With cake and drinks there is no room for boredom. These initiatives not only create unforgettable experiences, but also strengthen the sense of community in cities.
