August 15, 2025 is a landmark day in the Munich economy. The MLP Group, an established company in the finance and insurance industry, reports a new record: total revenues of 529 million euros were achieved in the first half of the year. On top of that, this marks an increase that is primarily characterized by a strong performance in the areas of provision (+5%) and protection (+6%). Even though EBIT fell to 42.7 million euros compared to the previous year (48.7 million euros), it is still above the five-year average, as Versicherungsbote reports.

A look into the future shows that MLP has confirmed its annual forecast with an EBIT of 100 to 110 million euros. The company is also daring to look ahead to 2028 and is planning an EBIT of between 140 and 150 million euros. Investments in artificial intelligence and a strategically broad positioning also play a central role.

The plan is to move the headquarters from Neuperlach to the futuristic “Momentturm” building in Munich’s Werksviertel.
