Serial burglar caught in Neuhausen-Nymphenburg – police strike!

In Munich the police sound the alarm: an arrested serial burglar is causing excitement among the residents of the Schöneviertel Neuhausen-Nymphenburg district. On Thursday evening, civil investigators arrested a 43-year-old man from Serbia who has no permanent residence in Germany. Together with a 24-year-old accomplice from Ukraine, he was discovered during a special operation against twilight burglaries. When the suspects noticed the police, they felt they had to hide and fled on stolen bicycles. However, the elderly man fell while escaping, speeding up his arrest process.

The police are already investigating the 43-year-old, who is accused of more than 30 burglaries. The suspect was wanted on a European arrest warrant and has a long criminal history. However, his 24-year-old accomplice initially remained at large, but was later caught and released. Investigators are now looking for a backpack that one of the men threw away during the encounter with officers. The police will receive information about this backpack on 089/2910-0 and ask you not to touch it so as not to cover up valuable traces.
