He has offered to mediate in a trilateral conversation between himself, Putin and Zelensky. Amid these diplomatic maneuvers, it is clear that tensions are not easing. While the US expects concessions from Ukraine to avoid loss of territory, the Europeans are ready to increase their role. A special EU summit scheduled for March 6 could provide further clarification on support for Ukraine.
