It can't be right for someone who is considered one of the best wrestlers in SummerSlam history to be virtually ignored during his presence at an event. Hart has put on countless notable matches over the years, including against the likes of Mr. Perfect and The Undertaker. In the interview, Hart also expressed harsh criticism of today's wrestling styles. He particularly didn't find Gunther's hard chops particularly appealing and described them as "lazy fucking wrestling". A clear indication that he is dissatisfied with the current industry and believes that the new talent should learn from him in order to be successful in the profession.
A look back and forward
Despite all the disappointments, Bret Hart remains an indispensable part of WWE history. After the death of legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan, he feels even less appreciated. Hart hopes that he will be respected more in the future because his performance speaks for itself. Why shouldn't all wrestlers benefit from the experience and skills of a star as prominent as him?
