A special highlight in the Munich event calendar is approaching: the popular event will take place on July 19th and 20th, 2025 Gardener's Square Open Air instead of. This year the event area has increased by a third. From Reichenbachplatz to half south of Gärtnerplatz, a lively space for meetings and music will be created. The program promises something for everyone: on Saturday there will be pop and jazz music on the main stage. Malik Harris' appearance at 8:15 p.m. will be particularly exciting. On Sunday, however, visitors can experience an open-air concert by the orchestra and soloists from the State Theater at Gärtnerplatz, which celebrates classical music.
There is a new promotional ticket for the Sunday evening performance, which secures visitors an exclusive seat in the seating area. With these measures, the organizer, Konstantin von Keyserlingk, shows a good knack for financing the event, because increasing costs and lower sponsorship income required more creative solutions. The ticket system remains unchanged, so ticket prices will not be increased.
Street food and summer atmosphere
An appealing street food offering from local restaurants ensures that nothing is missing in terms of culinary delights. In front of the main stage, a visit to Gärtnerplatz Open Air becomes a summer experience that Munich residents can enjoy to the fullest. There is also refreshing Augustiner beer, which perfectly underlines the summer atmosphere.
