On September 29, 2025, the well-known pop singer Patrick Lindner celebrated his 65th birthday in the House box in the Kufflers wine tent at the Oktoberfest. The festive occasion was a welcome opportunity for Lindner to continue his tradition and celebrate with friends and family.
What’s going on at the Oktoberfest? Lindner enjoyed the day to the fullest - first he strolled through the viktualienmarkt before retiring with friends to the roof terrace with Dietmar Holzapfel and his husband Sepp. “At 65 I don’t feel any different than at 64,” he explained, expressing relaxation about age. There has been a lull in terms of gifts in the Lindner household for several years: Instead, he and his husband are planning a river cruise on the Danube from Passau to the Danube Delta.

The highlight of his birthday was the celebration in the wine tent, where he received a hearty birthday serenade from the guests. Lindner came on stage and performed his hit “Greek Wine” with the Oktoberfest band Blechblos’n. Host Stefan Kuffler surprised the singer with a magnificent cake, which he cut with his husband Peter Schäfer and distributed to around 20 invited guests.
The celebrating guests included some prominent faces, including singer Ireen Sheer, her husband Klaus-Jürgen Kahl and composer Jean Frankfurter with his wife Uschi. This celebratory event gave Lindner an unforgettable birthday in the heart of Munich. It was a show that the audience didn't want to miss, and the hustle and bustle in the other tents wasn't neglected either.
The colorful hustle and bustle at the Oktoberfest
As befits a lively Oktoberfest, the atmosphere in the other tents was also lively. Model Sophie Hermann lounged in an elegant dirndl at the Käfer Wiesn Schänke, while entrepreneurs Willi Beier and Beatrice Zarges enjoyed their festivities there. Frank Thelen and his wife Nathalie were also there, while TV presenter Verena Kerth and her companions presented a huge octopus - whose origins, however, remained a mystery.
And that's not all: ex-politician Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg and the "Sturm der Liebe" actress Vivien Wulf, who had fun on the dance floor with David Degen, the president of FC Basel, rounded off the lively hustle and bustle at this year's Oktoberfest.
For everyone who wants to take part in the Oktoberfest, it is advisable to make a reservation early. From spring you can check the tent websites to see whether the reservation option is activated. To get the best seats, you should act quickly, as short-term cancellations also occur, as the official Oktoberfest website oktoberfest.de explains.
The celebration has just begun, and for Patrick Lindner, this 65th birthday was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate surrounded by friends, love and lots of music.
