Now directly from Munich to London: The Flixbus is here!
München, Deutschland - The connection between Munich and London is now easier by Flixbus. The new direct line brings travelers from Bavarian to the British capital in about 22 hours. This is a real progress, because so far the passengers have had to count on changes that lasted between 23 and over 30 hours, as the evening newspaper.
The bus line is offered once a day. The departure takes place at the central Omnibusbahnhof (ZOB) in Munich at 9:40 p.m., grants a short stop in Nuremberg shortly before midnight and stops further in Frankfurt, Cologne and Düsseldorf, before you finally arrive at the Victoria Busbahnhof in London around 7 p.m. the following day. The cheapest ticket prices start at around 74 euros, with an additional a few euros for the seat reservation. This makes bus driving an interesting and inexpensive alternative to the expensive flights that demand prices between 83 euros and 321 euros for a two -hour direct flight from Munich to London. Even the train journey takes at least ten hours and costs around 220 euros, according to the Süddeutsche Zeitung.
Important information about the trip
If travelers should have doubts about the validity of their ETA, the consumer center warns that they are careful when booking, since dubious third -party providers are in circulation. These new Flixbus offers could also be a real advantage, since Deutsche Bahn is also planning a direct connection from Frankfurt to London until the early 2030s. It remains to be seen how well the new bus connection is in practice.
