The burglaries in Ludwigsvorstadt occurred between September 8th and 18th, 2025. The perpetrators were able to escape undetected and the investigation is ongoing under the aegis of Commissariat 52 of the Munich police. Witnesses who have information about what happened on Pestalozzistrasse and Maistrasse are asked to call 089 2910-0. The Bavarian Police reports that the crimes in recent days illustrate a worrying increase in burglaries.
Another break-in in Obersendling
On September 17, 2025, a shop in Obersendling was also the target of a break-in. Between 5:50 p.m. and 6:10 p.m., unknown perpetrators forcibly gained entry through the front door and stole several hundred euros in cash from a cash register. Similar to Ludwigsvorstadt, the perpetrators fled undetected, the police have carried out extensive forensic measures on site and are also investigating as part of the 52 commissioner's office. Witnesses who can say something about Hofmannstrasse and Zielstattstrasse are called upon to come forward.
Politically motivated acts of vandalism in Hadern
The situation is further complicated by another type of crime in Hadern.
