TSV Allach 09 achieved a difficult 1-0 victory in oppressive heat
An exciting duel took place in Munich on September 21, 2025, when TSV Allach 09 had to play away against SpVgg Feldmoching. Both teams not only fought on the pitch, but also had to contend with summer temperatures over 30°C. These circumstances were clearly noticeable, after all, drinking breaks were unavoidable for the players. Despite the heat, it was a game full of tension and drama, which Allach was able to win 1-0 in the end, as Fupa reports.
The first half was characterized by a defensive style of play from Allach, who initially had difficulty finding their rhythm. A loss of the ball gave Feldmoching the opportunity to have a shot on goal, but it was parried by the experienced keeper Uli Steigenberger. The home team was also lucky with a header return that just missed the goal. On Allach's side, Benedikt Gromes could have caused danger with a solo effort, but his shot was cleared aside by the opposing goalkeeper. Michi Scheuerer finally hit the crossbar with a header, but at halftime it was still 0-0, as BFV describes.
The decisive moment
The second half brought the decisive turning point for Allach. In the 58th minute, Thomas Huser was fouled in the penalty area, resulting in a penalty. Huser himself didn't miss the chance and converted safely to give TSV Allach 09 a 1-0 lead. Feldmoching subsequently only managed one notable attempt on goal, which was again defused by Steigenberger. Meanwhile, Allach had at least three more good opportunities to score, but unfortunately couldn't add anything worth scoring. In the end, the victory was perfect and the Allach team deservedly took home the three points.
In the league, Allach is now in 8th place with 6 points, while Feldmoching remains in 13th place with just 3 points. This was the fourth defeat of the season for SpVgg; they had already conceded a total of 15 goals. The next challenge for the Allachers awaits on September 27, 2025, when they host the second representative of TSV Dachau 1865, which is currently in 6th place with three wins from five games.
A look outside the box: health in football
While the local league continues to provide excitement, we also look at the health aspects of football. A current study by the NAKO examines the long-term effects of sports careers on the health of former professional footballers in Germany. Various factors such as cardiovascular risks and consequences of injury are examined. 348 ex-professionals took part in the study, and the results promise interesting insights, especially with regard to frequently occurring injuries in football.
The combination of exciting games and dealing with the physical demands of football makes it clear: the sport has many facets. For Allach it is now time to use the positive energy from the last game and score with a win against Dachau.
