A traffic accident in Andernach injured a 20-year-old motorcyclist from Neuwied on Monday morning. The incident occurred around 9:00 a.m. on Eichenstrasse when a 70-year-old driver from Andernach overlooked the motorcyclist who had priority while turning left. As a result, there was a head-on collision at the junction with Aktienstrasse/L117. The motorcyclist had to be taken to hospital as a result of his injuries, while exact information about the extent of his injuries is still pending, reports Tixio.
