The little boy and another child were in the car of a 37-year-old woman who was driving towards the city center and wanted to turn left. During the accident, the BMW crashed into the right side of the Škoda, where the boy was sitting in the child seat. Despite being properly secured in the car, the boy later succumbed to his serious injuries in hospital.

After the accident, the police officers quickly took action and rescued the boy and immediately began resuscitation until the emergency services arrived. This tragic development, in which a life was wiped out at the age of just four, not only plunged the boy's family into misfortune, but also affected the emergency services. The driver of the BMW and the passenger in the front seat were also involved in the accident, both of whom suffered minor injuries. The BMW driver whose shoulder was injured in the crash is now facing serious legal consequences. He is being investigated for negligent homicide and bodily harm, and police are also investigating whether he may have been suffering from acute health problems at the time of the accident.
