On Sunday, July 13th, Munich will take to the stage for top-class sport: The German Beach Tour (GBT) stops at the Central University Complex (ZHS). From 10:55 a.m., beach volleyball fans can watch the live stream on BR24Sport as the best teams fight for a place in the semi-finals.
The tournament will feature a diverse field of participants, including both strong women's and men's teams. The women's pairs include Karla Borger/Hanna-Marie Schieder and Anna-Lena Grüne/Sandra Ifflinger. The men also have promising duos in the race with Luis Kubo/David Poniewaz and Paul Henning/Lui Wüst. With 12 teams in both categories, an exciting event is guaranteed because only the best four reach the semi-finals.
On tour – the German Beach Tour 2025
The German Beach Tour is the largest national beach volleyball tour in Europe and includes a total of eight tour stops where the athletes compete over four event days. After Munich, Düsseldorf and Berlin are still on the agenda - and all in a festive atmosphere that... GBT DJs is accompanied. Not only is sport offered, but also a real festival experience.
Not to forget: The German Championship, which takes place on Timmendorfer Strand and is already sold out. For real fans, you have to be quick, as tickets for these events are only available for a limited time in advance. Even if the championship is almost fully booked, the GBT offers various ways to follow the games - you can even look up the highlights in the media library.
Special features on site
Anyone who would like to take part in the events will find a wide range of support on site. Food trucks with vegetarian and vegan options will be on site, as will a water tap to ensure everyone stays well hydrated in the heat. Important: Your own drinks are not allowed, but children under the age of five are allowed to sit for free when accompanied by an adult ticket holder.
The German Beach Tour 2025 promises not only top sporting performance, but also a lot of fun on the sidelines, all in the warm atmosphere of Munich.
