Meet Theresia: New contact point for inclusion opened in Sendling!

Something is happening in Sendling! The Meet Theresa is now an official contact point for inclusion and has thus opened its doors to people with disabilities as well as their relatives and interested parties. This new information and advice center offers support for all questions relating to the topic of inclusion - be it in person, by telephone or by email. Social participation is very important here!

With over 20 contact points for inclusion in Munich, supported by the city's social department, Treff Theresia is an important piece of the mosaic in the network. Julia Achtner, the local contact, will work with her team with various institutions, the city administration and the Sendling district committee to actively promote inclusion in Sendling.

A place for meetings and advice

The open information point is accessible to everyone and not only offers advice, but also connections to appropriate specialist offices if that is necessary. Accessibility and participation are the central concerns of this initiative, which is intended to be supported by committed supporters. If you feel like it, you can even apply for job advertisements in the areas of district walks or specialist advice. So there is a lot of activity in the air!

Anyone interested can come by the open office hours every Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and every Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. For individual concerns, additional appointments are also possible from Monday to Thursday. Contact can be made simply by telephone at 089 21 58 39 08 or by email at info@treff-theresia.de.

Joint actions and participation

A special highlight that will take place on October 29, 2025 is the planned district walk that starts at 5 p.m. Here participants have the opportunity to get actively involved and get to know the surrounding area.

Louisa Pehle, the representative for people with disabilities in the Sendling district committee, was extremely positive about the opening of the meeting. She sees this as a valuable platform to better understand the needs of people with disabilities and to give them a voice.
