Championship frenzy: Local teams celebrate promotion dream in football!

An exciting end to the season in Munich's amateur football will be celebrated on June 12, 2025: numerous clubs have secured their championship titles and the associated promotion to the higher classes. Particularly noteworthy is FC Eintracht Munich II, who after a year in the C-Class are now celebrating as champions of C-Class 2 and returning to the B-Class. The success was based on a fantastic offense that scored an impressive 79 goals, as well as a solid defense with only 29 goals conceded, as [FuPa](https://www.fupa.net/news/djk-pasing-gelingt-durchmarsch-eintracht-ii- Feiert-mit-meisterschale-3101256) reports.

But it's not just Eintracht that can celebrate. The DJK Pasing III also secured the B-Class 3 championship title and was promoted to the A-Class. Also in the promotion frenzy are SC Lerchenauer See as champion of B-Class 1 and ATSV Kirchseeon II, who remained undefeated in B-Class 6 after winning 22 of 24 games.

Championships and promotions

The list of championships is long. SVN Munich II triumphed as champions of A-Class 5 and was promoted to the district class without having to accept a defeat in the first half of the season. TSV Gräfelfing became champions of the district class and achieved promotion to the district league with an impressive 6-1 win. MTV 1879 Munich is also celebrated after winning the championship title in the Munich 2 district league and thus being promoted to the district league.

But what exactly happens when you play in the higher leagues? Germany has a complex football league system consisting of different levels. The Bundesliga is the top division, followed by the 2nd Bundesliga and the third highest league, the 3rd league. There are a total of 2,235 leagues at up to 13 levels, which enable clubs to advance to the Bundesliga. According to Wikipedia, the regional league champions are entitled to promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga, while the lowest classes are organized by district or district associations.

It is clear that great talent and hard work will be required from the lower leagues to eventually climb the proverbial stairs to the top. While many teams look with pride at their titles, FuPa is also looking for images and videos from these championships to put together a championship gallery.

An impressive season finale that will make every football fan's heart beat faster. Here’s to the next challenges in the coming season!
