Young people shape culture: dance and pottery in Landshut!

Alte Kaserne, 84034 Landshut, Deutschland - in Landshut something happens! A group of motivated young people has teamed up to build a stage in abandoned walls. This creative act is part of a larger event that will take place in the old barracks, where the leg can be swung for a whole night. The old barracks, once a non -commissioned officer of the Schoch barracks, has been the pulsating center for young culture and creativity in Landshut since its opening in 2001. It houses a large hall and various practice rooms and offers space for extraordinary events that are frequented by around 40,000 visitors annually. Landshut.de calls the old barracks a youth culture center and emphasizes that it serves young people as a platform to live out their talents and ideas.

Another highlight for the young people is the design of posters in the court syndicate in Angersdorf, where creativity and teamwork are very important. At the same time, you can demonstrate your manual skill when pottery in the ceramic school. This multitude of activities helps young people to develop their perspectives independently and live out their creativity. "Culture supports young people in developing their own perspectives," said the tenor of the organizers. art and environmental education combined

In addition to the activities already mentioned, an exciting connection between art and environmental education takes place as part of the Kunstwerkfukung interaction campaign. In Bavaria, several environmental education institutions have teamed up to initiate over 30 projects that focus on sustainability and cultural education. The initiators want to encourage young people about the question "How do we live?" To think and express their ideas creatively. Tanja Praske emphasizes the importance of these projects that not only promote forms of artistic expression, but also raise awareness of sustainable action.

The works of art that arise in the context of artworking will help enable emotional access to the topic of sustainability and to emphasize the perspectives of young people. International and local artists and facilities are also invited to issue or list their work. This creates a lively platform for the exchange of ideas and promotes dialogue on important social topics.

With its initiatives,

Landshut clearly shows that the youth not only belongs to the future, but can actively be the designers of this future. Whether on the stage in the old barracks or at creative projects in the city - young people can vote here and thus enrich cultural life. Those responsible can be proud of what has been achieved and we can be excited to see which creative ideas will sprout in the future!
