Vulkanland Beach Tour 2025: Volley action starts in St. Stefan!
The sun's rays flash on the fine sand, and volleyball fans can look forward to an exciting event: the Vulkanland beach tour is in the starting blocks! From June 21st, sports enthusiasts in southeast Styria can once again look forward to exciting games in mixed pairs mode. How MyDistrict According to reports, a total of five tournament dates are planned, extending into the midsummer month of August.
The tour opens with the first date in St. Stefan im Rosental, followed by an innovation: Markt Hartmannsdorf has its own date on July 27th. Other locations include Gnas on August 2nd and Mettersdorf am Saßbach, where a charity tournament is taking place. The crowning conclusion is the tour finale in Jagerberg on August 17th. Matthias Janisch, chairman of the St. Marein-Markt Hartmannsdorf hobby club, emphasizes that they are looking forward to many participants and that the events are always well attended.
Regionality and community in focus
The Vulkanland beach tour has been organized by hobby beach volleyball players since 2010 and is becoming increasingly popular. Last year over 1,000 players from Graz, Leibnitz, Hartberg, Vienna and even South Tyrol took part. The event scores not only with top sporting performances, but also with a warm atmosphere and a varied supporting program. As the Small newspaper reports, it is particularly important to promote regionality and at the same time support charitable causes. Since 2013, the largest tournament has been held under the motto “Beach for a good cause”, and so far almost 20,000 euros have been collected for charitable projects.
The hobby club, with around 15 active players and a total of 25 members, recently celebrated promotion to the Styrian Volleymix League, which shows that there is a good knack for playing and organizing here. Places on the beach tour were always in high demand; 24 teams were usually fully booked. Registrations for the upcoming tournament in Markt Hartmannsdorf can be made by contacting Matthias Janisch on 0699/18754307.
Commitment to the future
In addition, a trial training session for young talents is on the program from July 23rd to 24th as part of the holiday pass. Here the kids are offered the opportunity to gain their first experience in beach volleyball under expert guidance. This shows that not only the current players in the region should be infected, but also the next generations should be enthusiastic about the sport.
For organizing such events that bring people together and strengthen the community, this offers Germeshausen project and event management comprehensive support. The team takes care of approvals, marketing measures and all on-site processing so that the clubs can concentrate on what is important – the sport and the joy of it.
So pack your balls and come along - the Vulkanland beach tour isn't just something to watch, it has to be experienced!
