On June 27, 2025, Gelsenkirchen warmly welcomes its visitors to the “Springsteen E Street Band Fan Zone” at Heinrich-König-Platz. Whether you're a die-hard fan or just curious, the event is an absolute must for anyone who loves legendary musician Bruce Springsteen and his E Street Band. Radio Emscher Lippe reports that the Fan Zone is open from noon to 7 p.m. and offers a variety of activities: DJ sets, pack singing, merchandise opportunities and a selfie spot are on the program. The best part? Admission is free, even for those who don't have a ticket for the concert in the Veltins Arena.
Visitors will be warmly welcomed at the main train station by promotional teams who will show them the marked path to the fan zone. Given the increased traffic in the afternoon, travelers should allow a little extra time. Interestingly, the stage in the stadium remains unchanged after the Robbie Williams concert that took place there the previous Wednesday.
