Munich celebrates weekends: CSD, art festival and 90s party!

Glockenbachviertel, Deutschland - An exciting weekend is imminent! On Saturday, June 28, 2025, the city will once again become the scene of diverse festivities that no heart is unaffected. Under the dazzling sign of Christopher Street Day (CSD), the state capital will turn into a colorful celebration of the variety. The CSD parade, which is reminiscent of the legendary Stonewall accident of 1969, sets a strong sign of equality and visibility of the LGBTQ+ community, especially in these times. The motto of this year's CSD could not be more suitable, because it is about freedom and a common coexistence that will be felt everywhere in the city.

But the CSD is not the only attraction. On the same weekend, the art stations in Maxvorstadt invites all cultural enthusiasts to experience the diversity of art up close. Under the motto "Freiheit", visitors can expect a colorful program: from concerts to workshops to discussions, there is something for every taste. The central point of contact, the Pavilion 333 between the Modern Pinakothek and the Turkentor, becomes the heart of the festival, which will be held from June 28th to 29th. Entry into the museums is free and also culinary is: Street food, refreshing drinks and cozy deck chairs invite you to linger. The art state -of -the -art is an ideal opportunity to enjoy art and culture in a casual atmosphere.

For all sports enthusiasts, the Munich Mash takes place in the Olympic Park. The Munich Film Festival also goes into the full with its 42nd edition and shows 164 films from 54 countries in twelve locations until July 6th.
