Traffic chaos at the Hoffenheim vs. Bayern game: How to get there on time!

Next Saturday, September 17, 2025, TSG Hoffenheim and Bayern Munich will face each other in the PreZero Arena. Kick-off is at 3:30 p.m. Fans of the two teams should get there in good time, as a large number of spectators and heavy traffic conditions are to be expected. As TSG Hoffenheim reports on its website tsg-hoffenheim.de, the use of local public transport (ÖPNV) is strongly recommended. Extra buses will run every 15 minutes from Sinsheim (Elsenz) train station to the PreZero Arena.

The shuttle stop can be easily found on the train station side. Shuttle services from surrounding towns have also been set up. The bus terminal at the stadium is used for the return journey of the regular buses, with fixed departure times at 5:45 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Due to capacity utilization, reinforcing buses can be provided on almost all lines. A small downside: There may be changes due to a construction site between Bernau and Neckarbischofsheim.

Parking options and traffic information

If you arrive by car, you have various options when it comes to parking. Free parking options are available, for example, at the “Freibad” car park and the parking garage at the Dr. Sieber Hall. Paid parking spaces are available along Neulandstrasse, costing 5 euros at P12 and 10 euros at P1-5 (museum). Parking at the arena itself costs 10 euros. Please note that parking spaces P1-6 at the museum are not available due to another event on match day.

A special bus parking space will be provided for away fans near the away entrance on the stadium grounds. Important: Coaches are only allowed to leave and board the PreZero Arena up to one hour before the start of the game and between 30 to 60 minutes after the end of the game. The instructions of the stewards must be followed on site, as rejections are possible due to the workload.

The journey from Munich and the surrounding area

The good news for fans from Munich: The PreZero Arena is easy to reach. Whether by car, train or public transport – everything is possible. Traveling with Deutsche Bahn in particular could be an attractive option, as additional special trains will be in use on match day. But even if you consider traveling by car, there are numerous travel options that guarantee a comfortable arrival.

Don't miss the chance to witness an exciting duel between Hoffenheim and Bayern. No matter how you arrive – be there on time and enjoy the unique stadium experience in the PreZero Arena. Take the opportunity and plan your journey well so that you can enjoy the day carefree!
