Speeding accident in Munich: Two dead after dramatic collision!

On the evening of November 29, 2025, there was a tragic traffic accident in Munich that sent the city into a frenzy. At around 8 p.m., a speeding Porsche and a turning Renault collided at an intersection in the Milbertshofen district. Two people lost their lives and two others were seriously injured, which illustrates the dramatic consequences of this accident.

According to initial information from the BR A 19-year-old from Munich was driving his Porsche out of town when he apparently ignored a red light. The driver exceeded the permitted speed and hit a 27-year-old from Augsburg who wanted to turn left in his Renault when the turning arrow was green. The impact was so violent that the Renault was torn in two. The Porsche rolled over several times and finally ended up on its roof after around 140 meters. The impact left the Renault a total loss, while the Porsche also suffered extensive material damage.

Sad result

Unfortunately, the outcome of the accident was devastating: a 48-year-old passenger and a 21-year-old backseat passenger in the Renault later died in hospital. The 19-year-old passenger of the Porsche and the Renault driver were taken to hospital with serious injuries. Two other passengers in the Renault also suffered injuries of varying degrees of severity. One inmate even had to be resuscitated on site.

The tremendous force of the impact and the subsequent measures taken by the emergency doctors and rescue workers made it clear how serious the situation was. Not only several ambulance crews were involved in the rescue efforts, but also the professional fire department and the Harthof volunteer fire department, which immediately rushed to the scene of the accident. There were significant traffic disruptions on site and the Schleißheimer Straße road leading out of town was closed for several hours while the police investigated.

Investigations and consequences

The Mercury reports that the Porsche driver was uninjured, but his driver's license was confiscated on site. Both vehicles were towed away to preserve evidence and the Munich traffic police have begun investigating the exact cause of the accident.

The excitement surrounding this incident shows once again how dangerous excessive speed can be in city traffic. The Munich Ring, which connects many traffic arteries, has already attracted attention in the past due to high traffic volumes and numerous accidents. This not only applies to individual vehicles, but also to trucks, motorcycles and, more recently, e-scooters, as reported DAY24 shows.

In a city where everything moves quickly, the loss of life due to traffic accidents is a tragic and intolerable reality. The thoughts of the people of Munich are with the victims and their families during this difficult time.
