Summer festival in Pasing: Culture and award ceremony united!
A happy summer party in Pasing brought together the winners of the Pasinger Mariensäi e.V. club last weekend. The event was a lively meeting in which both locally known artists and committed members of the community came together. Among the participants were Christian Müller, Thomas Schmatz and Maria Osterhuber-Volkl from the Mariensal Association. The frame string orchestra was also represented by the musicians Christian Marek and Bernhard Tluck. Andreas Seyferth and Margrit Carls took part of "Theater A lot of noise", while the Bavarian Volksstiftung was represented by Rosemarie Zacher, Susanne Elstner, Elisabeth Amandi and Ludwig Högner. Martin Blumöhr was also present.
A special highlight of the festival was the friendly atmosphere, which was recorded by a photo by Ulrike Seiffert. Such meetings not only enliven cultural life in Pasing, but also strengthen the community and the exchange between the different creative minds in the region.
art and culture at a high level
The "Theater A lot of noise for nothing", under the direction of Seyferth and Carls, has established itself as an important creative institution since its foundation in 1985. The group has developed into the artistic primeval cell of the Pasinger factory cultural center and deals with world literature. Her premiere of Shakespeare's "Much noise for nothing" in 1986 was the starting signal for a number of productions that are characterized by their intelligent and respectful adaptations. Musical elements also play an important role, and the productions are often enriched by live music.
The theater has established itself as a place for innovative projects that deal with both traditional and modern topics. Through the collaboration with various artists, such as the dancer Urte Gudian and the sound tinker Ardhi Engl, it shows that art is always in the flow and constantly takes on new forms. It is no wonder that the theater is also regularly awarded for its high artistic quality and is promoted by the cultural department of the state capital.
A look at theater history
Another milestone in theater history becomes clear by the awarding of the Max Herrmann dissertation price 2024, which took place on November 23, 2024 in Berlin. Dr. Christina Vollmert-Boldt was awarded for her dissertation "scenes of bourgeois festival culture", which illuminates the cultural dimensions and its effects on society. This award clearly shows how important it is to pass on and analyze the cultural heritage in the academic context.
The jury, consisting of renowned experts, praised the dissertation for its in -depth analysis and the interaction between urban festivities and national identity. This underlines how closely theater and community are connected and how events such as the summer festival in Pasing can strengthen these connections.
The Pasinger Mariensäi e.V. and the "Theater A lot of noise for nothing" prove that culture and community are not only of great importance in the past, but also in the present and future.
