Art in motion: Art Haidhausen opens over 40 studios!

In less than two weeks, Haidhausen turns into a vibrant place of creativity. Art Haidhausen will take place from July 4th to 6th, 2025, a creative event in which over 60 artists open their studios and workshops. This event has developed into a real highlight for those interested in art in recent years, and [Süddeutsche] (https://www.sueddeutsche.de/muenchen/kunst-haidhausen-ateliers-peter-euser-lei-time tips-li.3231122) reports that there are a lot of hands-on activities and a community exhibition this year.

The topic this year, "moved", plays with associations such as change and personal development. The opening event of the joint exhibition will take place on July 4 at 7 p.m. in the youth church in Haidhausen, Preysingstraße 85, and also serves as an information center for visitors.

art to touch

The studios are open throughout the weekend, and visitors can look forward to a diverse program: from painting and sculpture to photography to textile and jewelry designs. Live music, readings and performances are also planned. The studios open on Friday, July 4, from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, July 5, from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. On the last day of the festival, Sunday, the studios opened for all art lovers from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., such as [Munich Online] (https://www.muenchen-online.de/ exhibitions-in-zwikt---13-art-haidhausen-laedt-zum-kreative-rundgang/)

In addition, an unofficial bike tour of the artists will be carried out on July 5 at 6 p.m. A court concert by Peter and the Lost Boys on the cultural beach provides relaxed moments. Something is offered here for every taste, so that art enthusiasts and curious people get their money's worth.

guided tours and actions for young and old

Especially for younger visitors there are numerous hands -on activities that take place on July 5 from 1 p.m. A special highlight are the tours by the art historian Christiane Häsner, who cover the western and eastern French district as well as the newly furnished Atelier Fat Cat, which is located in the former Gasteig. These tours start on Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. and last about two hours.

Something is offered for every district, and the culinary breaks in the cozy Haidhausen cafés and local rounds off the art walk. Throughout the event, digital routes and cards are also available that make it easier for visitors to find their way around in the district.

And if you want to learn more about the background of the event: Peter Euser, the organizer and light artist, has brought his vision and passion for art and culture to Art Haidhausen since 2019. His commitment should strengthen the connection between the artists and the audience, which also inspired him to take part in the Munich Film Festival.

If all of this is not enough, you can look forward to the other art events in Munich, which offer numerous opportunities this year to deal with new and contemporary art. Examples are the exhibitions of Alex Katz and Andy Warhol, who will be presented in the city in the coming months, as reported [Secret Munich] (https://secretmuenchen.com/ exhibitions-in-muenchen/).

The Art Haidhausen promises to become an exciting weekend for art lovers and those who still want to become. An appointment that you shouldn't miss!
