Allmenzing summer festival: action, music and fun for the whole family!
Watch out, Munich! On July 5, 2025, Oertelplatz will once again be transformed into a lively meeting place for young and old. The citizens' initiative “The West is Colorful” invites you to the second summer festival “Allmenzing”. From 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., visitors can expect a rich program that leaves nothing to be desired. The celebration promises to attract well over 1,000 people who want to experience a colorful day with music, games and lots of activities.
The program is truly diverse: there is a great clothing exchange for the young people, where they can bring up to ten items with them, as well as an exciting table football tournament and a karate workshop. Anyone interested in current topics should not miss the “Solar Camp for Future”. Children can look forward to a wide range of activities: the play workshop and the Würmrangers offer creative and nature-related activities, while the Allach youth club invites you to do face painting and provides a glimpse of the volunteer fire department's vehicles.
A celebration for all generations
But “Allmenzing” has much more to offer. Over 20 information and participation stands from regional clubs invite you to marvel and participate. The Diakonie Munich and Upper Bavaria provides information about outpatient educational assistance, and the Allach Senior Citizens and Service Center offers advice for seniors. There's also a lot of culture going on, with offerings from the adult education center and the stage program from Stage 23. Not only is there live music, but line dancing is also presented here.
What would a celebration be without delicious food? On site, visitors can look forward to a wide range of culinary offerings, including pretzels from the Riedmair bakery and Indian specialties. There are also refreshing drinks, including fruity spritzers and beer, as well as free tap water. The focus is clearly on affordability and community.

The event takes place as part of Munich's lively summer festivals, which transform the city into a large open-air stage.
