Opel partner Häusler inspires with new models and afterwork event!
Munich will soon be the setting for a special event that will appeal to both car fans and families. The afterwork race day will take place on June 23rd at the Riem racecourse. From 4:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., visitors can enjoy exciting horse races, children's activities and a diverse culinary offering. TSV 1860 Munich fans also have the opportunity to get autographs from players Jesper Verlaat and Kevin Volland, who will be there at 5:30 p.m. Free tickets for the event can be easily requested via a ticket shop, making visiting a breeze.
But that is not the only highlight that is currently causing excitement in the Munich car world. The long-standing partnership between Häusler and Opel, which has existed since 1905, ensures that Opel is the only brand represented in all 12 Häusler branches for sales and service. This means a wide range of vehicles for customers, including electric and hybrid models that are particularly environmentally friendly.
New products at Opel
To the delight of many car fans, Opel has launched the new Frontera and the Grandland. The Frontera comes not only as a petrol hybrid, but also as a 100% electric variant, capable of driving up to 305 km. It also impresses with its spacious interior and innovative infotainment systems that make driving pleasant. In an optional seven-seater version, it also offers flexibility for families or groups.
The Opel Grandland is also available as an electric version, petrol hybrid and plug-in hybrid and has already won the renowned “Golden Steering Wheel” with its range of up to 582 km in the electric version. The current leasing offers start at just 199 euros per month for the Opel Astra Sports Tourer.
Environmental awareness in focus
A look at current statistics shows that interest in environmentally friendly vehicles is increasing. In May 2025, the share of new registrations of electric vehicles (BEVs) was 18.0%, an increase of 44.9% compared to the previous year. Hybrid vehicles are also very popular at 38.5%. This reflects the growing awareness of environmental issues, as a vehicle's CO2 emissions also depend on its efficient use. Some manufacturers therefore offer comprehensive information about the fuel consumption and emissions of their models, which is easy to view and thus creates more transparency.
The statistics from the Federal Motor Transport Authority confirm this trend: Of the 239,297 new registrations in May 2025, 195,189 vehicles were in the Euro 6 emission class. The average CO2 emissions are 109 g/km, which indicates a positive development of the vehicle fleet.
The partnership between Häusler and Opel is not only a long tradition, but also a sign of the future of the automotive business in Munich. Both companies rely on personal advice in their branches and are constantly expanding their offerings to meet the needs of their customers.
So you can look forward to the afterwork race day, which celebrates the connection between automobile and equestrian sports in a special way. This day is an absolute must for families and car lovers!
