Art and Culture Days Westend 2025: Celebrate diversity and stick together!
Things will be exciting in Munich! The eleventh Westend Art and Culture Days are just around the corner and will take place from June 21st to August 9th, 2025. Under the motto “Diversity & Cohesion”, a colorful program will be offered until the summer, presenting the cultural facets of the district. The opening will take place on June 21st between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m. with a neighborhood day at Georg-Freundorfer-Platz, like tz.de reports.
The event is organized by the “Westend has many faces” working group and presents the multitude of local initiatives, associations and institutions that organize the program themselves. A highlight is the Day of Cosmopolitanism on July 19th at the Evangelical Migration Center, which takes place from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. and involves 17 institutions. However, this year there will be no celebration at Gollierplatz and Forum Schwanthalerhöhe, which is due to organizational and financial difficulties.
Cultural exchange in the MKJZ
A central place for young Munich residents is the Westend Multicultural Youth Center (MKJZ), which has been active for 60 years and is strongly committed to intercultural exchange.
