Weekend highlights in Munich: culture, music and fun for everyone!

The Bavarian capital will also shine next weekend with a colorful mix of cultural and musical events. From July 11th to 13th, 2025 there is a lot to experience for Munich residents and visitors. Whether music, theater or culinary highlights – there is something for every taste.

The **One World Music Theater Promenade** kicks off on Friday, July 11th, at 2:30 p.m. behind the Café am Scheidplatz. Over 60 young people and 10 artists put on an exciting show with music, circus, dance and theater, including a wheelchair dance performance. Admission is free, so come along and let yourself be carried away!

Workshops and festivals

Immediately afterwards, at 4:30 p.m., the **Podcast workshop “What does the Gasteig sound like?”** will take place in the Kulturinsel am Gasteig. Here, children and young people aged 10 and over can let off steam creatively and create mini-podcasts with tablets - of course also for free.

A special highlight will be the **Brucker Kulturnacht ’25** on Saturday, July 12th. From 5:00 p.m. there will be a colorful evening full of music, theater, art and dance in various locations in Fürstenfeldbruck, and the whole thing is also free of charge.

For film fans, the **Kinoliebe Summer Festival** at Königsplatz is a must. There will be a family cinema with a hands-on circus, face painting and a variety of food trucks every day until July 20th. Admission is free, but registration is required.

The **White Ravens Festival 2025** will be held from Sunday, July 13th to Thursday, July 17th, with readings, workshops and panel discussions at various locations in Bavaria, especially in Blutenburg Castle. The event promises an exciting exchange with international authors.

Music and other events

In addition, on Sunday, July 13th, the **Klima.Dult – Market of Good Ideas** will take place in Luitpoldpark from 1:00 p.m. Everything here revolves around climate protection and sustainability, complemented by a mobile bicycle cinema. The weekend is rounded off at the **Minna Thiel Summer Festival** from 2 p.m. with live music and a tattoo pop-up.

In addition, the **Munich Organ Summer 2025** continues and presents the talented Bernard Robertson in St. Matthäus on Friday, July 11th. On Saturday Otto Maria Krämer will be heard in the Church of the Ascension and on Sunday there will be an organ matinée in St. Matthäus.

For all music lovers, the **Puch Open Air** will take place on July 12th at the Lehmair family's organic farm in Jetzendorf, with acts such as Benefits from Great Britain and Mark Ernestus' Ndagga Rhythm Force. A shuttle service from Petershausen Train Station is provided, and camping is free.

If you want even more festival atmosphere, you should also take a look at the upcoming events such as the **Old but Gold Ü30 Hip Hop Festival** or the **Midsummer Night's Dream in the Olympic Park** on July 19th - there is something for every musical preference.
