Munich's natural baths 2025: Refreshment in harmony with nature!

The bathing season 2025 is opened in Munich and the city is happy about the return of its popular natural baths. The Maria Einsiedel natural pool and the newly renovated Georgenschwaige are now accessible to all swimming fans again. These places not only offer a refreshing bathing experience, but are also characterized by their sustainable concepts. This is particularly noticeable in the use of chlorine-free water, which combines the advantages of swimming lakes and outdoor pools, such as tz.de reported.

The Georgenschwaige, which was redesigned from scratch after a devastating fire in 2021, opened its doors on June 2, 2025. Christian Scharpf, Dr. Gabriele Jahn and Nicole Gargitter was led, took part in enthusiastic guests. As a CO₂-neutral natural pool, Georgenschwaigen delights with biological water cleaning, which takes place by microbes in the gravel filter. Special features are a 1000 square meter of large reed filters and separate, barrier -free access to bathers restricted mobility. Here it becomes clear: Here you have a good knack for environmentally friendly design, as well as the SWM .

The Isar Canal that flows through the bathroom ensures a particularly picturesque backdrop. In addition, visitors can enjoy the advantages of a nudist area that is mixed both and for women. Here the guests experience an almost nature -loving bathing experience, without any chemical additives.

Another highlight of the natural baths is the advanced technology equipment in Georgenschwaigen. In addition to a newly designed entrance area, bathers can now also use the e-ticket service. The opening times are from Monday to Thursday from 10 a.m. and Friday to Sunday from 9 a.m., whereby the closing time extends to 7 p.m. and can even be extended until 8 p.m. when the weather is nice. Admission prices are family -friendly: children up to 12 years have free admission, while adults have to expect 6.30 euros for all -day access.
