Lettenbichler wins the thrilling Silver Kings Hard Enduro in Idaho!

What an exciting racing weekend Silver Kings Hard Enduro in Idaho! From June 12th to 14th, 2025, the best hard enduro riders in the world gathered in picturesque Kellogg, or rather on the challenging Silver Mountain Resort race track, to compete in thrilling competitions. Among the bright stars of the scene, two riders in particular stood out: Trystan Hart and Manuel Lettenbichler, both from KTM. However, Hart, who finished the first day ahead of Lettenbichler, suffered a narrow defeat on the final day of racing.

On the first day of the race, things got pretty good. Trystan Hart took the lead and crossed the finish line first after 1:45:12.2 hours, 34 seconds ahead of Lettenbichler, who crossed the finish line in 1:45:46.7. Mitch Brightmore ended up in third place. Billy Bolt, also a strong competitor from Great Britain, fought his way into the race from 15th place after a bumpy start, but was unable to keep up with the leaders. Despite his tenfold reputation, he made a few mistakes in tricky sections of the route and ultimately ended up in 5th place.

Day two: A head-to-head race

The second day of racing brought full action, with Hart and Lettenbichler constantly taking turns and taking the lead. Wade Young of South Africa kept the pressure on with a solid ride to take third place. Finally, Lettenbichler triumphed in the final, with a final running time of 2:04:48.18 hours, while Hart finished just 25 seconds behind him.

New points and a look forward

This year there is also an important innovation in the racing format. The FIM Hard Enduro World Championship has introduced a new points system aimed at promoting fairness, strategy and competitiveness. The changes are aimed at making every racing day count, which is particularly important at multi-day events like the Silver Kings Hard Enduro.

In the provisional Hard Enduro World Championship table, Manuel Lettenbichler now leads with 64 points, followed by Mitch Brightmore with 46 and Billy Bolt with 43 points. The next round takes place in Abestone, Italy on September 20th and 21st and the excitement couldn't be higher! These championships definitely promise to continue to bring interesting races.
