Bundestag Infomobile: Kassel will provide information from July 11th to 15th!
The German Bundestag's information mobile will stop at Königsplatz in Kassel from July 11th to 15th, 2025. This impressive vehicle, measuring 17 meters long and weighing 26 tonnes, is a mobile information center where visitors can learn more about Parliament and its functions. Employees are available to answer questions and promote dialogue with citizens in stimulating discussion formats. Anyone interested is cordially invited to find out about the Bundestag's wide range of information on offer.
The idea behind the Infomobile dates back to 1990, where the idea was to educate people about political processes. Originally intended for an electoral period, the project has developed over the years into an established source of information that also offers multimedia content. Anyone who has always wanted to stand at the lectern in the Bundestag has the opportunity to take a souvenir photo here.

A wide range of information from the Bundestag
The Bundestag is not only committed to dialogue with citizens through the Infomobile. All year round, visitors can take group tours of the Reichstag building, arrange meetings with members of parliament or use the extensive offerings on the Bundestag website. Debates are broadcast live there and can also be watched afterwards. A variety of information materials can be ordered free of charge, which further increases the accessibility of parliamentary work.
The Bundestag also uses social media such as Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube to contact the general public directly and to report on current topics from committee meetings. The goal is clear: an open and transparent parliament that hears the voices of its citizens and takes them seriously.
The challenges of today make the importance of such information offerings even more important. Active engagement with political events promotes understanding of democratic processes and awakens interest in political participation.
