NOVENTI celebrates comeback: profit of 6.6 million euros in 2024!

NOVENTI Health SE recently published its annual financial statements for 2024, giving cause for celebration. After three years in the red, the company reported a profit of 6.6 million euros for last year. This marks the first positive result since 2022, when a loss of 133 million euros was recorded. The result in 2023 was also disappointing with a loss of 11 million euros. This pleasing turn of events is part of the company's “Fokussierung 2025” program, which aims to promote economic stability and growth, as lifepr.de reports.

Overall, sales revenue remained at a constant level at a stable 263 million euros. What should be highlighted is the billing volume, which was over 30 billion euros last year. Frank Steimel, the deputy chairman of the board, confirmed the return to profitability. Mark Böhm, CEO of NOVENTI, has formulated the goal of acting as a quality leader in prescription billing and at the same time continuing to grow in the areas of merchandise management and software. Lars Polap, Chief IT Officer, highlighted the need for digitalization in the healthcare sector, which is particularly interesting in view of the current digital trends in the healthcare sector.

Anniversary and recognition

2025 will be a very special year for NOVENTI as the company celebrates its 125th anniversary. As part of the representative meeting of the FSA e. V. on June 24th in Munich, the annual financial statements for 2024 were presented. The final meeting ended with a unanimous discharge of NOVENTI's Executive Board and Supervisory Board, which underlines the trust in the company's management. Andreas Buck, the first chairman of the FSA, thanked the customers for their loyalty and trust in NOVENTI's services.

In order to continue its innovation course, the company plans to continue developing products in a practical and innovative manner. If you would like to find out more about the details and figures from 2024, you can read about this in the extensive annual report.

Outlook and new technologies

NOVENTI Health SE is not only back on solid financial ground, but will also be actively represented at expopharm 2024, which takes place from October 9th to 12th. Here the company will present new products and services, including the innovation PROKAS Evolution and TI-as-a-Service. The use of artificial intelligence is also being praised at the trade fair stand, which goes hand in hand with today's trend towards digitalization in the healthcare sector.

In the context of digitalization, a current study by PwC shows that insured people in Germany are open to digital health solutions. Telemedical offers, such as video consultations or online chats, are viewed positively. However, there are also concerns about data security, particularly regarding cyberattacks and the protection of personal information. However, 52 percent of those surveyed are willing to share their information with doctors and health insurance companies via the electronic health card, which represents an interesting trend in the healthcare system (pwc.de).

With a positive annual balance and the vision of not only embracing digitalization in the healthcare sector, but also actively shaping it, NOVENTI appears to be well prepared for the challenges of the future.
