In Munich, more precisely on Schondorfer Straße, there was a basement fire in a single-family home on June 14, 2025 at 5:51 p.m. A call from the neighborhood alerted the fire department because smoke was coming from the adjacent building and people were suspected to be inside. When they arrived, the emergency services encountered thick, black smoke billowing from the cellar shafts. The situation required quick action.

Fortunately, it was also discovered that there were no people in the house, so there were no injuries. The building was then ventilated and made smoke-free before the scene was handed over to the police after about an hour.
