Allach-Untermenzing: A wine festival for connoisseurs and friends!

Munich is looking forward to an enjoyable weekend, as the Allach-Untermenzing horticultural association is celebrating its 21st wine festival on Sunday, September 7th. This festival, which takes place in the lovingly decorated garden of the clubhouse at Eversbuschstrasse 161, once again relies on a successful mix of fine wines and tasty food. When the weather is nice, visitors can look forward to a blooming atmosphere, and should the sky become uncomfortable, a spacious marquee ensures dry places.

The wines offered on this festival day come from regional winemaking families from Allach and beautiful Burgenland. In addition to classic varieties, there are also delicious organic wines on the menu, which are a delight for all wine lovers. The culinary offering is also impressive: from hearty classics such as wine goulash with napkin dumplings to tarte flambée and the Allacher dumpling duet - everyone will find something to their taste here. The whole thing is complemented by cold dishes such as a bacon platter, filled Vinschgerl and cheese cubes, while in the afternoon there are various variations of fresh crepes. If you want to take a sweet break, you can enjoy homemade cakes and coffee in the clubhouse.

A celebration for the whole family

The wine festival begins at 10 a.m. with an open-air service on the way next to the clubhouse. If it rains, the service will simply be moved to the marquee. The day is musically framed by the Vierkirchen brass band, which creates the right atmosphere with its morning pint from 11 a.m. From 2 p.m. the band “Grad No” takes over and provides lively beats until around 8 p.m. This combination of music and delicious food not only offers a great opportunity for social gatherings with friends and neighbors, but also promotes togetherness in the community.

Wine festivals are not only regional highlights, but also important events for the wine industry and culture in Germany. They attract numerous wine connoisseurs from near and far and offer a platform for regional traditions as well as culinary highlights like this Weinhaus Rieg explained. Events of this kind are not only a pleasure for all the senses, they also promote direct connections between winemakers and guests and make a valuable contribution to the regional economy.

In a year full of celebrations, with Allach-Untermenzing hosting its wine festival for the 21st time, it is also clear how important such events are for the local community. They make a decisive contribution to the creation of strong friendship and neighborhood networks. The volunteers from the horticultural association are doing everything they can to make this festival a complete success.

So let’s head to the 21st Wine Festival! Whether alone, with friends or family – this day will be a refreshing experience for everyone! And don't forget: If the weather is bad, everything stays under one roof, thanks to the large marquee!
